TALKING IT OUT ISN'T ALWAYS ENOUGH

First, let me say that I am a big fan of talking therapies; they've been a lifeline and constant source of support and wisdom for me over the years.
Psychotherapy, counselling, hypnotherapy, CBT - I like 'em all, and they each have enormous value.
But - (deep breath) - they're limited.
Talking therapies provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space to express your feelings, and try to make sense of them. The importance of that is not to be underestimated.
It's an incredibly helpful first step for many to try and understand why they feel and behave the way they do, and to try and develop strategies to cope better.
Talking things through is way better than not talking things through. But - you can sometimes talk for hours, months, years, even - and nothing much changes.
You understand why you're anxious - but you're still anxious.
You understand why you feel lost in your life - but you still feel lost.
You get why you lack confidence, or struggle to quit your bad habits, or have phobias. You get where it all comes from - but it's still there.
Sound familiar?
Most therapists are highly competent and skilled, too, so this isn't on them.
And you're not cursed, or particularly difficult, no matter what you think - so this isn't on you, either.
It's just that talking alone isn't enough - you may need something more.
This is where Reiki comes in - the healing part of Hypnotic Healing. Oh, let me sing the praises of Reiki, it is so unbe-farting-lievably awesome!
What's so great about Reiki?
Whilst talking is fabulous, it uses the mind to try to solve problems created by the mind - not always ideal!
Reiki, however, involves little to no talking. So this is perfect for when you:
don't exactly know why you feel the way you do.
are being affected by something in your subconscious mind, that you don't clearly remember.
don't want to talk about it (this is a biggie).
have talked it out endlessly, and nothing changed.
Reiki has nothing to do with cognitive understanding. It bypasses logic and rationale, and goes to something much, much deeper - your energy field - the essence of you.
This is far subtler, usually far gentler, and more profoundly relaxing and healing than any talking therapy.
And most importantly - it changes how you feel.
You may understand, or you may not - Reiki will work regardless. It produces profound, lasting relief from conditions you may have held for a long time - even years.
Anxiety, pain, stress, sleep issues, depression, chronic illness, anger, loneliness, frustration, lostness, stuckness - Reiki will help them all, and many more.
This is why I don't just practice hypnotherapy, or just coach clients through their difficulties. Energy healing is the secret magic ingredient that makes the powerful difference - it's the agent of change.
And all three together? Talking it out, hypnotherapy and energy healing? That's a potent combo - and I've seen it work miracles.
